TOOKEY RESIDENCE

This underutilized formal sitting and piano room was burdened by sixties paneling, worn carpeting and a “cold” fireplace mantel. We uncovered and refinished the long-strip oak flooring, refinished the wall and molding surfaces and created a showcase mantel that incorporates detailing from wood features found elsewhere in the home. The room is now a well-used piano and gathering space and real estate asset.
